Notice on Graduation Gown Rental for Master’s and Doctoral Graduates - February 2025

 

This is Lee Daun, President of the Graduate School Student Council at Inha University.

We are pleased to offer graduation gown rentals for master’s and doctoral students graduating in February 2025. 

If you plan to attend the ceremony, please review the details below and submit your application to rent a graduation gown set.

Below is information on how to rent graduation gown sets for master’s and doctoral graduates.

 

◉ How to Rent Graduation Gown Sets for Master’s Graduates

 ∎ Items for Rental : Graduation gown set (mortarboard(cap), hood, gown)

 ∎ Rental Date and Time : February 14, 2025 (Friday), 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

 ∎ Rental Location : Hallway in front of the Graduate School Administrative Office, 3rd Floor, Main Building

 ∎ Rental Process : Submit your ID card. → Receive a rental ticket.

   → Pick up the graduation gown set.

 ∎ Return Deadline : ~By 4:00 PM on the day of the graduation ceremony (no exceptions).

 ∎ Return Process : Return the rental ticket and graduation gown set 

   → Retrieve your ID card.

 ∎ Important Notes

    - Master’s graduates can rent gowns on-site on the day of the ceremony by presenting their ID card or student ID without prior registration.

    -  Gowns cannot be rented on any day other than the graduation ceremony.

 ∎ Items for Rental : Graduation gown set (mortarboard(cap), hood, gown)

 ∎ Rental Date and Time : February 14, 2025 (Friday), 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

 ∎ Rental Location : Lobby in front of the Graduate School Administrative Office, 3rd Floor, Main Building

 ∎ Rental Process : Submit your ID card → Receive a rental ticket

   → Pick up the graduation gown set

 

          ∎ Return Deadline : ~ By 4:00 PM (no exceptions).

 ∎ Return Process : Return the rental ticket and graduation gown set

   → Retrieve your ID card

 

For doctoral graduates, please submit your application by completing the form through the link below!

  (Please refer to the tables below for mortarboard and gown sizes, as well as hood colors. Size changes will not be possible after the application deadline.)

∎ Application Deadline : January 30, 2025 (Thursday), 6:00 PM

∎ Application Process

  - Submit your application → After receiving a confirmation text, pay the rental fee → Once payment is complete, you will receive a confirmation message 

     → Pick up the gown set on the day of the graduation ceremony

  - Rental fees for doctoral graduates vary based on the number of paid student association payments. The fee ranges from 20,000 KRW to 50,000 KRW.

  - After the application deadline, you will be contacted individually via text, KakaoTalk, or phone call with information on 

    your “student association dues payment count,” “rental fee,” and “payment account details.”

 

∎ Important Notes

  - Doctoral graduates must submit their application by the deadline.

  - After the deadline, you will need to rent your gown through an another external service.

  -  Gown rentals and exchanges will not be available on the day of the graduation ceremony.

  -  Gowns cannot be rented on any day other than the graduation ceremony.

  - Graduation gowns are not allowed to be taken off-campus.

  -  Please do not throw your mortarboard(cap). Repair costs will be charged if it is damaged.

◉ Reference for Mortarboard and Gown Sizes, Hood Colors

- Size changes will not be possible after the application deadline.

- Size exchanges will not be available on the day of the graduation ceremony.

- Please ensure you order the correct size based on your measurements.

Question: How do I measure my head circumference size? Answer: Wrap a measuring tape around your head about 1cm above your eyebrows, and note the measurement.
- Due to potential measurement errors, please order one size larger than your actual head measurement for a more comfortable fit.
